Privacy Notice
How we handle personal information submitted through this website and its contact form.
Who we are
Elliott Digital Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales. Our company number is 17388077.
Where applicable, Elliott Digital Ltd is responsible for the personal information processed through this website.
You can contact us through the contact page, by email at michael.elliott@recoverybeyondborders.com, or by telephone on +44 7438 059607.
Information we collect
When you send a contact enquiry, we may collect:
- your name;
- your email address;
- your organisation, if you provide it;
- your website, if you provide it; and
- your enquiry message.
The form also contains a hidden honeypot field used to identify likely automated spam. It is not intended to be completed by normal users.
This website does not provide user accounts or profiles and does not create behavioural-tracking or CRM records.
Why we use this information
We use enquiry information to understand and respond to your request and to communicate with you about a potential project, collaboration or related matter.
Depending on the nature of your enquiry, this processing may be necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract. In other cases, we rely on our legitimate interests in receiving, assessing and responding to genuine business and collaboration enquiries. We aim to use only the information reasonably needed for those purposes and to balance those interests with your rights and expectations.
Technical service information
When you access the website, Vercel's hosting and security infrastructure may process limited technical request information such as your IP address, request time, requested page, and browser or device information. This is used to deliver, secure and troubleshoot the service, not for Elliott Digital advertising or behavioural profiling.
The availability and retention of infrastructure logs depends on the production hosting configuration and provider terms. Elliott Digital should periodically review those settings and retain access only where operationally needed.
How the contact form works
The contact-form process is:
your browser → Elliott Digital serverless contact endpoint → validation and anti-spam checks → Resend → configured recipient mailbox
Enquiries are not stored in an Elliott Digital application database. Resend processes the submitted information to deliver the contact email. The resulting email may then be retained by the configured business email provider and Elliott Digital in line with their applicable practices and the retention approach below.
Service providers
We use providers that support the operation of this website and contact process:
- Vercel — website hosting and serverless infrastructure.
- Resend — transactional email delivery.
- The configured business email provider — receipt and storage of the delivered enquiry email.
The production notice and configured business email provider should be checked when the website is deployed.
International processing
Some service providers may process information outside the UK. Where data-protection law requires it, appropriate safeguards are expected to apply to that processing.
Cookies and browser storage
The website does not currently use non-essential cookies, analytics, advertising trackers or application browser storage. Self-hosted font and application files may be held in normal browser caches so the site loads efficiently.
Read the current cookies and storage information.
How long we keep information
We keep enquiry information only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, manage the related business relationship, meet legal or accounting obligations where applicable, or resolve disputes.
The website itself does not maintain a contact-enquiry database.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights to:
- ask for access to your personal information;
- ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
- ask for information to be erased or its use restricted;
- object to certain processing; and
- receive or transfer information in a portable format where that right applies.
These rights do not apply in every situation. To ask a privacy question, exercise a right or complain about how we have handled your information, please contact Elliott Digital. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Sensitive information
Please do not send sensitive personal information through the general contact form unless it is genuinely necessary.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect information. No website or method of transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice as the website, our services or our processing changes.
